Spend an evening at Chuck’s favorite restaurant in his hometown with this $100.00 gift certificate to the Five Crowns restaurant. Located in a Tudor mansion at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Poppy in the charming seaside community of Corona del Mar, the Five Crowns has been serving the southland for decades. A refreshingly old-fashioned retreat with its glass-enclosed greenhouse, fireplaces and period antiques; all of which make this dining establishment a perfect respite from your busy life. You may even be regaled with stories by the restaurant’s remarkable Tommy Martin, sommelier and raconteur extraordinaire. Make sure to book your reservation when he’s there.  Value = $100.00

Museum Marathon #1. You’ll have to begin your training to run this marathon by sitting down and watching “Mary Poppins” and “Pinocchio”. Once you can  sing “Supercalifragilisticexpealadocious” and “When You Wish Upon a Star” by heart then you’ll move into the aerobic portion of your training – turning the pages of your “Peanuts” anthologies and finally – and this is an important part of your training – you’ll need to do some eye stretches “Boi-oi-oi-ng! because you’ll be spending a few days in northern California visiting the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco’s beautiful Presidio as well as the Cartoon Art Museum in downtown’s trendy Mission District plus a side trip up to Santa Rosa for a tour of the Charles Schulz Museum. We have tickets for 4 to all of the museums, plus a beautiful book “Picturing the Disney Family Museum”.  Value = $175.00

Abracadabra! Cucamonga! Kalamazoo! Be a guest at the private club that houses the Academy of the Magical Arts in Hollywood. This 1908 mansion became the Magic Castle in 1963 and since then has become synonymous with “Now you see it, now you don’t!” This gift card in the amount of $___.00 will allow you and your guest(s) an evening’s dinner or a weekend brunch along with entertainment by some of today’s most noted masters of the magical arts—it’s Hogwarts and Hollywood all rolled up in one magic carpet ride.  What could possibly top that? Why, it would be a day’s excursion through the Hollywood that Chuck Jones knew (by the way, Chuck was a long-time member of the Magic Castle); your guide will be none other than Chuck’s daughter, Linda Jones Clough. She’ll take you on a tour of Chuck’s haunts in Hollywood and share her stories about growing up in Hollywood. Enjoy a lunch with Linda at Musso & Frank Grill, Hollywood’s answer to Elaine’s in New York and the preferred dining spot of Hollywood’s literati and artists. Value = $400.00, but actually priceless.

Museum Marathon #2. What do ketchup, pickles, steel, and tomato soup cans have in common? How ‘bout this: Tickets for two to the fabulous Andy Warhol Foundation as well as tickets for the Toonseum, plus two nights stay at the Wyndham Hotel…all of which are located in beautiful downtown Pittsburgh! Yes, you heard me right, beautiful downtown Pittsburgh. What? You’ve never been? To make this even better, round-trip airline tickets via American Airlines are included (some restrictions may apply, including black-out dates.)  When you think about it, this marathon is awesomeness itself! The man who changed the way art is perceived and a museum devoted to a purely American art form, not to be missed. Value $1200.00 (opening bid to begin at $895.00 to cover cost of AA airline tickets through Winspire?)

Spuds & Suds! A 1000 Gourmet Tater Tot feast plus a 10 Tap Beer Tasting and Toasting Extravaganza from our friends at “The Iron Press” (two doors east!) Ten of you can enjoy 100 tater tots each or you can be completely selfish and devour the 1000 yourself! Any way you slice it, the potatoes and you will probably be baked. (Designated driver not included…so plan ahead.) Value = $1000.00

Coffee powder. Tang. Sea Monkeys. Art Collection. What do those four things have in common? For three of them, it’s “Just add water”, but for the fourth one, all you have to do is be the winning bidder of this auction item. We offer you an “Instant Art Collection”. Seven works by seven artists, both established and emerging: a drawing from Chuck Jones, Eric Goldberg, and Jeff DeGrandis. A painting from Bob Elias, Trevor Carlton, and James C. Mulligan and an embellished limited edition from James Coleman, all of which can be hanging in your home or office as early as tomorrow.  Craig Kausen personally curated this collection.
