ACME Membership FAQs
How many people does my membership include?
The membership is for one individual.
Can I add more people/family members to the membership?
Yes. The “Membership Pin” is the individual “Member Card.”
You can add members by purchasing additional Member Pins for $10.00
Will additional members receive a t-shirt and lanyard?
These are not included with the additionAL Member Pin.
You can purchase additional t-shirts and lanyards from our studio store.
Do additional members receive newsletter, special access and discounts?
Family members (same home address) with Member Pin, will receive all membership benefits.
Friends with Member Pin will receive our newsletter and can attend SMC&D events for free.
All other benefits require a Full Annual Membership at $75.
Is my membership deductible as a charitable donation?
Yes, but only a portion of the membership is a “contribution.”
$50 of your $75 membership dues is a Charitable 501(c)3 Donation.
You will receive the necessary tax letter for your annual income tax filing.
Fees and benefits are subject to change.
Memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Charitable Membership and Tax Rule
The payment of membership dues to a charitable organization is deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent that the payment exceeds the fair market value of the benefits the member is entitled to receive in return for the payment.
