The Creativity Kit for children took shape earlier this year when we participated in UCLA's Social Enterprise Academy. Our student team developed several different social enterprise business ideas for the Center, and although it was not chosen, the Creativity Kit, and its concept percolated in the idea-verse. The idea of a Creativity Kit took shape with a visit to the UCLA Pediatric Coronary unit and became reality when UCLA put the Center together with the Beverly Hills Women's Club.

Craig Kausen, chairman of the Center and Chuck Jones's grandson, along with toy designer and conceptualist, Frank Howa, designed and developed the box and the contents of the Creativity Kit. It contains crayons, Model Magic, pencil, drawing paper, coloring book, yarn, Wile E. Coyote stickers, a make-your-own flip book, and much, much more.

The members of the Beverly Hills Women's Club assmebled 300 of them for distribution this holiday season to young patients at the UCLA Mattel Chidlren's Hospital.
